They showed us the three different treatment rooms and we took over the main room where strength training happens. They have been in this location for 9 years and are very busy, with the 4:00-6:00 timeframe always being the busiest.Besides adjustments, the doctors and the 6 staff there do rehab, spinal decompression, laser, muscle stimulation, x-rays and hope to add massage therapy and acupuncture at some point in the future. Tim watched his dad Art do drain cleaning and at age 16 was already a sub-contractor for his dad's company. Tim Lindholm's wife Hope is involved in the company and now his son Andrew is as well! As the family grew, so did the company.The business does residential and commercial plumbing, appliance installation, water filtration, drain cleaning, water heater installation and repair and more! They can do any job - big or small and serve a wide area. They even offer financing.

Chamber Ambassadors on the Move!The Ambassadors met with Taylor Gronau, City Administrator, and asked all things Buffalo! Taylor has been the Administrator now for almost a year, following Laureen Bodin's retirement. He came from that role in Lake Crystal for 7 years prior. He and his family live in Buffalo, with his wife working as a nurse for Allina and their 2-year-old son keeping them both busy!Here's the things we learned:1.The City is making a 3-million-dollar investment in fiber optics as a public utility. There is a 3-phase approach in this 70-year investment, starting with the commercial corridors first. 2.The City purchased the gravel pit area with hopes of getting some grants from the state of MN to build a 90-acre commercial or manufacturing business campus.3.The 2024 budget shows a significant investment in our streets.4.There is a letter of intent on the old county government center - no real details - other than a mixed-use type of project.5.We are unique in that we are a full service City: electric, water, sewer, trash, community center, civic center, fiber - all City owned/managed. Chamber Ambassadors on the Move!The Ambassador group had the opportunity to stop in at Culver's and meet with the Assistant Manager, Cody. Here's some things we learned that maybe you don't know:·The Buffalo Culver's was the first one in Minnesota -opened in 1995.·Our local Culver's employs 50-60 employees on average.·They don't discriminate with their hiring practices - giving everyone a chance. New Chamber Member!RIVERSIDE CHURCH1004 Commercial Drive, Buffalo (coming spring '24)www.myrc.churchI'm sure you've seen the dumpsters and renovation happening at the old Human Services Building (or old Pamida building as many of us still call it). This will, hopefully by Easter of next year, be the new home to Riverside Church! Their main church is in Big Lake (3 services) and they also have a campus in Sauk Rapids (2 services). Buffalo will be their 3rd location. Serving the church is Pastor Tom Lundeen. Because so many people in our area attend Riverside, it seemed a natural area to grow. It is a church not only where you go, but a family you can belong to. It is a great church for those busy families, with lots of programs and opportunities for young and old alike. Established in 1931, with 35 employees, Riverside just continues to be a place where searching and hurting people can discover a God who loves them and can change their life. Their core values are Experiencing Grace, Growing in Love and Giving of Ourselves. They encourage the Big 3: Come every Sunday, be part of a group and serve on a team.We look forward to watching the building progress with the planned opening of spring of 2024.

Chamber Ambassadors on the Move! GATHER KITCHEN200 Central Avenue763-267-7440We cannot say enough about the food, the service, the knowledge, and the passion for the business that you experience eating at Gather Kitchen, which has been open now for 3 years. Owner, Kristi Varner has 5 employees to help her make the experience there great every time!Today was a pretty typical day for lunch, with an average of 40 lunch customers. Kristi also has a steady take-out business in the evening. Why wouldn't you when she has over 20 years of experience as a chef! Kristi has worked at prestigious dining establishments for 7 years in Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco, until moving back to Minnesota when her son was born. She still has a fine dining/farm to table/garden/venue/bank music idea in her head. Hope she gets to see that come to fruition someday here in Buffalo. For now she enjoys collaborating with others in the area, like Hayes Tap Room and Evelyn's Wine Bar. In the meantime, we will continue to enjoy her fresh sandwiches, salads, and soups along with some mighty tasty desserts! Her most popular sandwich to order is the Smoked Turkey/Bacon/Avocado. It's the best!! Always enough to save half for lunch the next day! Kristi personally likes the Rachel sandwich. Did you know she caters? Did you know she makes Thanksgiving pies? The Gather Kitchen is open 10-5:00 Tuesdays through Saturdays. If Kristi weren't working, she would be walking on a beach somewhere. We're glad she's here!
